Aha.  We have your problem.

You need the FLAC command-line encoder.  The FLAC frontend is for you
to do this yourself in Windows.

The FLAC command-line encoder is called simply flac.exe.  You can get
it here:

http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html

Use the "tools only" download.  I believe the installer might put a
copy of flac.exe somewhere though, so you might want to search your
hard drive for it.

BTW the FLAC frontend is not completely useless.  It allows you to
experiment with the settings you can use with the FLAC command-line
encoder in a user-friendly way.  But it is useless to EAC since EAC
can't do anything with it.
