For FLAC files, what are the pros/cons of using SS's "multiple genre"
feature (e.g., delimiting with ;) versus using multiple "genre=foo"
entries in the Vorbis comments? In other words, when does it matter
whether I use:

genre=Blues ; Rock

or
genre=Blues
genre=Rock

At present I'm using the "Blues; Rock" method, but wanted to ask about
this before investing more time on tagging genres.

I suppose that the delimited list is somewhat SS-specific, and won't
carry over well to other players, like foobar. Is that true? That
wouldn't matter much to me, because I use Squeezebox for 99+% of my
listening to music in FLAC files.

Probably more important for me is how transcoders handle it. In
particular, I use Robin Bowes' flac2mp3.pl script to convert from FLAC
to mp3 (using flac & lame) to maintain a library of mp3s for my
portable player. I've seen that the delimited version comes through as
written, but what do the transcoders do when they encounter multiple
Vorbis comments?

Thanks for the help.
