Recommendation requested:
1. I started ripping CD's in Apple Lossless, just ot have the closest
possible to original and then tossed all the CD's in a box.

2. Ended up converting (copying) them all to AAC, so as to be able to
sync with iPod, without filling up the iPod with fewer songs. So I now
have duplicates of most of my albums

3. I am able to create playlists in iTunes, filtering with encoding
format (Apple Lossless versus AAC & MP3).

4. I would like to now archive all the Apple Lossless and store them on
a backup drive. Just keep the AAC & MP3's in iTunes and Squeezebox.

Is there an easy way to extract all Apple Lossless files from the
library? Note that the filename postfix for AAC & Apple Lossless are
both ".MP4". Only iTunes can distinguish by reading tags (I guess) and
create seperate playlists.

Thanks!
