There is an additional field for 'artist sort order'. On mp3 there are the following:
TSOA: Album Sort Order TSOP: Performer Sort Order TSOT: Title Sort Order Put something like "Dylan, Bob" (or to confuse everyone, "Zimmerman, Robert") and it will sort by that. FLAC has similar tags, but I don't recall what the names of the field are. Yes, they're a bit of a pain to set.
