WMP will recognize the CD the same way that you had it when you originally ripped it. So any CDs that weren't recognized before won't be recognized now (unless the external database has been updated since you last ripped). However, if you made changes to the tags within Windows Media Player then it should have saved those changes in its internal database) and thus your changes should show up. If, however, you made changes to the files since they were ripped with another program... then those changes definitely won't be known to WMP. Ie. WMP isn't going to look at your existing files and tag them the same, its going to look in its databases and tag them that way... if the databases are wrong... the tags will be wrong.
