LOL! Yeah, I've always wondered about the "Porn Groove" genre. This assumes there are people that actually listen to it like it's serious music? <scratches head> > > I've never seen a well-thought-out set of Genres that combine actually > matching songs, but not being overly broad. With id3v2 and flacs > vorbis tags, genres can be anything: you're not limited to the 147 > stupid genres that Nullsoft made up. I agree, they are either impossibly large or way too limiting. Best to go with a set you develop that meets your needs, or use one of the existing genres in one of those impossibly-huge lists. Some other interesting genres in the standard lists: Darkwave Dream Folklore Freestyle JPop Merengue Negerpunk (!) Noise Primus Space Terror ...so yeah, there's no point in being "standard" and adhering to that list. -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22948 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
