I've just noticed , fortunately before I got too far (only about 20 conversion out of poss 400 ) that the tag obtained is not necessarily unique over a number of tracks e.g. two instances of "Allegro" , say and EAC will overwrite ( delete) the earlier track. What puzzles me is that the track number which ends up on the filename does not seem to make the file unique. When you examine the list of compressed files (using FLAC) there are missing track numbers i.e the later tracks have deleted the earlier ones. Is there a workaround or is it necessary to manually scrutinize the tags every time you start the process ?
