OK, I'm a muffin, officially! I changed my router and everything's cool... even with Apply lossless... which was stuttering like hell before...
Same settings with wep, etc... I'm resetting my mimo router which was causing issues and going to try again, cos I'm sure that router is supposed to be better than my standard netgear G router.
