dBpowerAMP Music Converter does a fantastic job transcoding, in fact it is definitely the most complete and versatile I have seen. It's currently on track 410 of 5337 on my second pc. It ran 15 hours of transcoding on the first batch of files and is looking like 53 hours to finish off the 2nd batch on my other PC. The real beauty is that it has the ability to retain tags and delete the source file, making transcoding to the source folder a very real option without having space concerns. Did I mention it retains tags??? :P
