I have been ripping my CD collection with zero issues over the past few months, until today. First the details of my setup. Running Windows XP, Slimserver 6.2.2, ripping using EAC to FLAC. My folder structure is D:\Music\<Artist>\<Album>\<Tracks>.
Today I ripped a Nektar album titled "Recycled", nothing too unusal there. The correct directory was created under my D:\Music tree and was populated with the resulting FLAC's. However, Slimserver refused to reconize the fact that the album exsisted. I checked the tags, everything was spot on. Hummm. Tried a rescan, reboot to no avail. To confirm the tags were correct I moved one of the FLAC files into an exsisitng album folder, the track showed up just fine. This told me it was the name of the folder "Recycled" that was the issue. Sure enough, once I renamed the folder to "Re-cycled" Slimserver saw the album and all is good. I am guessing this could have something to do with the Windows Recycle Bin? I know there is a hidden Windows file on the root of each drive named Recycler.
