I doubt you'll have any compatibility issues with any brand-name drive
made in the last couple of years. Taiyo Yuden is probably in the top
two or three media manufacturers so thats a good bet. Disc-at-once for
sure. Lower speeds probably aren't worth your time... there is lots of
misinformation about burning at lower speeds... unless you have any
problems, I'd burn at top speed just to save yourself time. 

As far as drives go, Plextor is pretty much considered the best audio
CD drive maker out there. However, I have a Plextor external drive
sitting on my desk that I never use because its just easier to use my
NEC internal drive... and I've never had problems with audio burns from
either drive.

These days, since almost all drives burn very compatible discs, the
only players you'll need to worry about are players that are more than
7 or 8 years old. Burning with the Taiyo discs may mitigate those
problems... but unfortunately its really dependent on the player.
