In theory you could get rip errors in the Disk to Disk copy version if
the source in in bad condition, or copy protected. 

If your FLACs are ripped with EAC then the chances are you won't have
any rip errors.

Burning from FLACs will probably be quicker as it should just be able
to burn at full speed, not have to depend on the source disk being read
slower. You also don't have to shuffle disks or have two CD drives
