Well, thanks (or no thanks) to these guys, I did manage to get this. Haven't split the WAVs up or encoded to FLAC yet, but they will be 24-bit, 48 kHz FLACs.
Followed these instructions: http://www.glump.net/content/audio_dvd_rip/guide.htm BTW was first kind of surprised to find that the AC3 and MP2 audio files were in the ~225 kbps range, but now that I think about it, this isn't surprising.
