I will most likely go with the idea of keeping the FLAC library for the house, and maintain a separate on-the-fly library for the iPod i havent yet purchased. I have a friend who's working on updating the firmware, as previously mentioned by one of you, to play FLACS on the iPod. But i agree with you that the file sizes will be more prohibitive than the sound quality, especially with the better sounding compression that is available. I will let you know what i end up doing when it happens. Thanks again for all the info and advice. When is SLIM coming out with a 200gB car player??? ;)
