got it, replied to your PM.

you say 'crashes' then 'freezes'... when I think of crash I think
the program ended abruptly, so is it that or does it really freeze
and never end?

I'm guessing the resulting FLAC file is mostly OK, except maybe
at the end, and also it did not have a chance to go back and write
the MD5 sum or seektable which is why the seeking is slower.

I'll check it out ASAP.
