Can an iPod use id3v2 (2.3 or 2.4?) tags? And which charset encoding work best - Unicode UTF-8, UTF-16, or ISO-8859-1?
I'm transcoding my library to mp3 as well as retagging the handful of mp3s I have and may as well get it right the first time.
