I have a large MP3 collection that is encoded with LAME alt-standard. This basically means my collection is on average around 320kbps. This is great for home use, but I want to be able to listen to my stream at work and on the go. I was hoping I could have slimserver reencode my music at a more modest 128kbps or so on the fly. I have a fast computer, so the computer should be able to keep up, its just a matter of if there is a plugin that can do this.
