Hi Siduhe, thank you for your quick response :-) I didn't found this thread because I searched only the ripping/tagging part of this forum.
I think I do now understand what the problem is: Bevor iTunes 7 I copied the Cover directly in the tags. With iTunes 7 I stopped this and let iTunes searching for the covers. What I do not understand till now: I ripped my new FLAC files with FLAC 1.1.3: I embedded the cover, but Slimserver cannot recognize the cover art in the flac files. I think that might be a Slimserver issue because of this new FLAC function in v. 1.1.3. "Cover Scout" would be the exactly the right tool for me.
