OK: Answered my own question here! Finally figured why all was not well with some of my compilation albums...
Have a set of discs (25 years!) all compilations. On several there were artists like Cliff Richard & the Shadows. As I have other tracks credited to the Shadows I though it would be fine to tag as follows: Compilation=1 Artist Cliff richard & the Shadows Band: Cliff Richard;The Shadows But instead, the Album gets listed under Various Artists but with the album artist = Cliff Richard ...!
