Hoping for a little assistance here. Have a significant library to
build and before I go too far (again) I would like to get the best bang
for my time. I have ripped the same CD in two separate formats, putting
each in a separate folder and having SS rescan each for
tagging/compatibility. What I find is that when ripped as a wav file,
the scan does not find all the files of that particular CD, even though
the file is in the folder, that same CD ripped using MP3 finds all the
music for that artist. Both formats play flawlessly, but there is a
significant difference in quality. Disk space is not an issue, so I
want to have the best quality that SS supports natively. This is my
second round of ripping over 300 CDs, and now that I know what the SS
acts like when it can recognize the format, I really like it, but I
don't see MP3 as being my first choice, so what is the recommended
format that SS can play natively?

thanks in advance for the help
