Or find a friendly (techie) neighbour, put a small NAS in their house
and connect it to your wireless network. Rsync nightly. Offer to give a
home to a machine of theirs for the same reason.

I do nightly rsync backups to 'rsync.net', and I can't recommend them
highly enough. OK, so they're not priced well if you're wanting to
backup two-hundred-gigs of flacs, but for digital photos and other
irreplacable stuff, I wouldn't be without them.
