I use dBpoweramp R12 Reference Batch Converter. Is not free, but worth it. I convert a subset of my FLAC 1.1.4 (Main Library) to MP3s using the latest LAME encoder with the following settings. VRB -V 2 "standard". I select a bunch of tracks in my FLAC library then click convert and walk away. It creates a subset MP3 library for my mobile DAP with all my tags (including embedded album art) maintaining my folder/file name structure ([genre]\[artist]\[album]\[track]. [title]).
