Hi all,

I'm going through the process of tidying up the tags in my relatively
new library of FLAC files, and I'm hoping someone maybe able to help me
out with some advice...

My current tools for ripping my CD's to FLAC are dbPowerAmp, MP3Tag and
AlbumArtAggregator, and I'm running SS 6.5.4 on CentOS.

I've found that SS seems to need to be able to read a tag called "BAND"
when it displays views such as "Albums, by Artist" before it displays
the correct Album Artist in this view. dbPowerAmp has used a tag called
"Album Artist" and populated this with the correct album artist
information, but it seems to me that SS doesn't read this tag. I've
come to this conclusion after doing some tests with a couple of album's
worth of files and manually editing and adding some tags, such as
"BAND". I've also started to get a clearer indication of how the
"COMPILATION" tag works in the scenario of having albums with more than
one artist, but that's another story...

My question is, can anyone suggest a way of simply copying the contents
of the "Album Artist" tag to the "BAND" tag in one easy move??

Many thanks!!

Clive
