I have my record deck connected to a CD Recorder and burn the album to a CD-RW. I use manual track breaks which just involves pressing a button between tracks.
I then use abcde to rip the CD-RW onto my music system. Much to my surprise this does a pretty good job of finding the albums in the CDDB so I rarely have to do any manual tagging. abcde handles the FLAC conversion and replay gain as well. I actually find this approach faster than recording directly onto the computer - mostly because I'm less inclined to screw something up. Sometimes I have to use Audacity to clean up a track with an obnoxious scratch but fortunately I took pretty good care of my vinyl. There's a good thread at: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40894&highlight=rip+vinyl on this subject. See cliveb's post for a link to some very useful notes.
