Thanks ceejay. I did think of that, although was after a feature that is as much about searching for and analysing patterns in tags as it is about doing the replacement.
For example by running such a function to look for "Bjork" with a view to replacing it with "Björk" (so correcting the spelling), I could see how many of my files are mislabelled, and examine the results before commiting to the change. And of course the change itself may involve more than just altering the tag - I may want to add an additional action that renames the files as well (if one of the changed tags is used in the filename) - so it would be good to have the safety check before commiting to the whole series of changes.
