Hi Zaragon, thanks, that's what it is. I have a tag called MUSICBRAINZ_SORTNAME in many of the files. I suppose the ripping software put it there (I didnt).
I cant see how to stop slimserver from using it, but it looks like metaflac can remove it from all my files in one go.
