I've seen this before too, I used to use CDex on an old 1.7 Celeron PC. I put it down to some weirdness with the drive in my old machine. New rips are fine. Best way to be sure is to use something like Audacity (this assumes you're using a PC) - it's a free download - to create a wav file which only has audio on the left channel. Then burn to disc - assuming this plays back left only through your hi-fi CD player amp you can be fairly sure your hi-fi signal chain is correct.
Then rip same disc in itunes as AIFF and see what happens when playing back on Duet! -- moley6knipe 2 x SqueezeBox 3 | 1 x SqueezeCenter 7 | 1 x Win XP Pro SP2 | 1 x Happy listener :-) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ moley6knipe's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10014 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47504 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
