I used to play music album by album, and having to adjust the volume
once an hour (or so) was really not a big deal. But, a month or three
back I setup MusicIP. I love it to death - but now I'm mostly listening
to mixes. I'd been thinking about Replay Gain, but hadn't done anything
about it.
Thanks to comments here, I've downloaded the dbPowerAmp ReplayGain
codec (which I may or may not have spotted), pointed the dbPowerAmp
batch converter at the root of one part of my music collection (it's
spread across a couple of drives), and I'm off.
Thanks!
FWIW, the dbPowerAmp converter also has the ability to set priority.
Possibly a good idea if you're doing this to a lot of music, and you
have an underpowered server (like I do) and you don't want to bring it
to its knees...
