I stumbled upon a free program when I was trying to figure out how to
rip from some concert dvd's. It's called MobiDVD and it's designed to
rip to ipods but you can set the output to a wav file. I tried it and
it worked well on the ones I tried. It was very simple, just find the
audio file and tell it to rip to a wav file. You might give it a try
and see if it's doing it correctly and up to standards. I'd be curious
to see if you can do a dts with it. I think you can. Here's the site.
http://mobidvd.xulsoft.org/ and it's free for now.
