I've never had a problem streaming from home to my office, but today
something started that had a definite pattern to it.

My library is encoded Apple Lossless where I stream unlimited bandwidth
to both my wired Transporter and wireless SB3. Transcoding at home is to
WAV (although I can also do FLAC). When I stream to my office SB3 I
transcode to 320kbps MP3 using LAME.

Today I was listening to some newly ripped CDs and decided to play an
older CD from Alex Acüna & The Unknowns. NO PLAY!! Strange, I know
I've listened to it before at work. Next album I tried was one from
Alan Parsons... no problem, it played. Back to Alex... NOTHING.

The more I searched files that did and did NOT play, I came up with the
one common denominator... LATIN PUNCTUATION! Anyfile with special
punctuation in the name or artist WILL NOT PLAY (transcode), including
Müsica Española by Albéniz, Holst's The Planets by André Previn,
anything from André Sergovia... do you see the pattern?

Now I 'remotely' tried playing these on my Transporter and SB3 at home,
at least by watching how they reacted on the server, and they DO play.
So this seems to point to something happening in the transcoding
process.
