Actually, I believe this version takes the MD5 checksum in the FLAC file
and looks for that as a tag in the MP3 file.  If it does not find the
tag, or it does find it but the checksum is different, it does its
processing for that FLAC, and writes the checksum to the tag on the
MP3.

Is the tag one that flac2mp3 understands?

You could also try the --tagsonly --force options on the offending
file.

I suspect Robin will chime in with some better insight....
