the track number is where? in the filename? or in the tags?

SC doesn't have any problems finding track numbers in tags that i know
of.

1. when you rip a CD with EAC or whatever, rip it to a set directory
for new rips.
2. set WMP to "monitor" that folder, and tell it to only add missing
info.
3. have WMP already open when you rip.
4. wait for WMP to stick the art in there, (they are hidden files).
5. if WMP doesn't stick the art in there after 10min or so, but it
displays the right art when you play the CD, then rip tracks with WMP
until the art shows up in the WMP rip folder, and then stop the rip.
cut and paste the art and delete the WMP rips.
6. when u have good rips and the art, move the new stuff to the
permanent area. your rip area that WMP monitors should be small and
should only store new rips until you have em all tagged / arted, and
ready for placement into the permanent area.

EAC is complicated to setup, but its worth it. their site has faq
info.
