If only it was that simple! You can already display the BPM in your library, method is something like; 1) http://www.mixmeister.com/bpmanalyzer/bpmanalyzer.asp
Then use 2) http://musicip.philosophicalzombie.net/document.php?id=45 which is currently down :s or read this forum; 2) http://forums.musicip.com/index.php?showtopic=3734 Now you have the BPM tags and can use your CustomScan and CustomBrowse to put it into the database. Then I was working on coding this approach; 1) Current playing track - Get BPM 2) Do MIP request 3) Get MIP responses, take tracks 4) Search database for each track and pull out BPMs 5) Take best match and add it to playlist Think I got as far as 3) :s -- cparker www.spicefly.com - Visit for an enhanced Interface for MusicIP and integration tips and tricks, Plugin coding tips, Spicefly SugarCube the MIP AutoDJ plugin and Spicefly Weather! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cparker's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2083 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53712 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list ripping@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
