Thanks for pointing this out. I am totally new to FLAC, and use OS X whenever possible.
I am currently listening to my large iTunes MP3 library using a Duet and a SB3 on a Synology NAS DS207 using SSOD. I am contemplating to reencode my CDs (>1000) with some loseless format, and FLAC seems to make the most sense, especially with Squeeze playing it natively.
