All my ripped music is stored as lossless files (mainly WMA, some others). It would be convenient to have lower bit rate MP3s or WMAs for use on my portable devices, and it's a hassle to do a real-time conversion when downloading to the device.
I have a batch converter packaged with Easy Media Creator 10, and it does a reasonable job quality-wise but seems very slow. Like 20 hours to do a portion of my files. Any suggestions of a free or cheap utility that would do the job more efficiently?
