Hallo,
some years ago i bought myself a Cambridge Musicserver, which has a 160
Gb HD.
Because i need to get my nearly 1000 Cds on that HD i decided to ripp
them into 256 VBR MP3, because the Cambridge didnt play FLAC and for
WAV the HD was too small.
Btw. I didnt hear a difference between the MP3 and the WAV (I put a
track as MP3 and the same track as WAV several times on the HD and
played them in the random-mode and i didnt hear any difference)
Now i will substitute my Cambridge with the SB Duett.
My new CDs i will ripp in FLAC, but what to do with my thousands of
„old“MP3.
I dont want to ripp my old CDs again, too much work.
Did the SB has problems to play the MP3 in the same good quality as
the Cambridge, because i have read that there should be a MP3-Bug in
the software.
Or should i transfer my mp3 (there are on a HD) into FLAC,with which
the SB should have no problems or should i go with the SONOS?
Thank you for your advice.
