my advice: if space isn't a problem, go flac. wav's can have very limited tags (which i only found out recently via audacity) but are pretty useless.
i'm not sure what tagging standards flac use, i'm sure someone here can clarify that. but more importantly, flac is very robust as a file format, as well as flexible and lossless. you'll also probably be interested in applying replaygain values to the tags. -- MrSinatra www.LION-Radio.org Using: Squeezebox2 (primary) / SBR (secondary) / SBC - w/SC 7.3b - Win XP Pro SP3 - 3.2ghz / 2gig ram - D-Link DIR-655 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MrSinatra's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2336 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=54543 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
