I built cases (bookcases, essentially, but with shelves sized and spaced specifically for CD jewel cases) for mine. It took several, but I have to have them accessible because I often want to refer to liner notes for things like "Who played that trumpet solo?" or "Who did this arrangement?" There is also often extensive written material with many jazz CDs, and I want to be able to get at them. The bookcases line one wall of my music room, convenient but out of the way.
