I haven't set up my Duet yet (it didn't arrive in the mail today - I'll have to wait until Monday). In the mean time, I have downloaded EAC and I have ripped several CDs in FLAC. I "directed" all the music files to my external hard drive, where nothing seems to be filed very efficiently (in that the hard drive is now full of individual songs - unlike, say Windows Media Player, where everything is neatly contained in individual "albums" and the songs are subcategorized). Does this matter once I install the Squeezebox Duet and all associated software - will the Duet read the song files and categorize then into "albums?" What am I missing here? Do I need to reformat the directory in EAC differently?
Additionally, the music files that I already had saved in Windows Media Player will actually play on my computer once I click on the song title (file) whereas when I click on the song file that were ripped in EAC, all I get is a word file (no music)????? I think I need some tutoring in EAC usage? -- timequest ------------------------------------------------------------------------ timequest's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=25640 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60469
