when using EAC, you only really need to use secure mode in the drive
options when you don't get a positive accuraterip result.

fast should be the default if speed is important.  if fast doesn't give
u a positive accuraterip, then try secure.  if the disc can't be read by
EAC under fast or secure, then go to burst.

i have had a disc or two simply not work under EAC at all.  in such a
case, just to get it done, use WMP.  it may look halted for a very long
time, but eventually it does seem to get it in most cases (in my exp).
