Hi, I only had my SB Duet for a few days so please bear with me. I know this has been discussed many times and I have read a lot about the issue but I still find it hard to conclude what's best for me. If one only uses SB/SC I guess it's pretty easy to make compilations show up correctly but most of us use another software package for Laptop/PC playback. I use J. River Media Center (MC), which looks at the list of Artists and if they're all the same, e.g. Metallica, then Album Artist (Auto) is automatically set to Metallica. If tracks are different then Album Artist (Auto) is automatically set to "(Multiple Artists)" and listed as so. The Album Artist field itself becomes just a way to override Album Artist (Auto) e.g. if you want to list Soundtracks, then you can put Soundtrack into Album Artist, and MC will use that instead. BTW Album Artist (Auto) not a tag, it happens inside the software.
So my question is: how should I setup SC?
