Each player gets idipendant streams that match that players ability as
best it can. So yes, the transporter would get the full resolution
audio. This should be synced, if it isn't there is a bug somewhere.
Likewise if you have an old SliMP3 in there as well you would have a
transported playing back the native 96khz stream, a SB3 playing back at
48khz, and the SliMP3 playing back a transcoded MP3. How cool is that?
