Oops, correction! I was looking in the wrong output folder, one that had been created in my earlier attempts. Now, in the correct output folder, while the error messages did occur as described, it does in fact look like the music files were properly created, i.e. the music plays in winamp. So this may indeed be a good solution. My only question now is whether these error messages indicate a problem in the MP3 creation.
