Hi All,

I hope someone can help with this, as it's driving me mad!

It sounds like the usual problem with trying to play AAC files, but
I've done my homework and still no joy. I have a SB Boom, with SC 7.3.4
running on Vista 32. Files in question are m4a, no DRM.

I have configured convert.conf to use faad.

SC shows a moving progress bar when playing, SB shows an empty bar, not
moving. No sound.

Log file shows several instances of:
"Found command: [faad] ..."
"Rejecting [faad] ... because required capability T not supported: "

Okay, so I understand the error, but the only place I found anyone
talking about it on the web, they said that this was only a warning, and
that it would still pick one of these comands and use it, although
FWD/REW would not work. That would be fine, but this message is
followed by:

"Error: Didn't find any command matches for type: mp4"
...and of course the file isnt played.

Sample convert.conf line:
mp4 wav * *
        # F
        [faad] -q -w -f 2 -b 1 -s 44100 $FILE$

There are similar lines for mp3, flac, etc.

I've run FAAD from the command line, just in case, and it's fine.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
