No, I would not bring a song or disc over until I could re-rip to FLAC. The problem is that some of the ones that I have not have wacky tags. I'm not sure why they are playing fine on old server but when I move just the files to the new server they seem to not scan right.
For example I have the following directory \Music >Jack Johnson >>Brushfire Fairytales >>In Between Dreams >>On and On >>Sleep through the Static and yet only two of them show up on Server under My Music -> Artists ->Jack Johnson. I find the others under -> No Artist.
