i do mostly pop music, but i have some classical too, however i don't obsess over tagging classical.
having said that, i would strongly advise that whatever tagging methods you use, your dir/folder structure equal a one to one match per cd. there are times SBS relies on folder location, like for greatest hits logic or for folder album art. also, its simply easier to track and find your files on disk. i never combine even a multi cd album into just one folder. each folder with audio files in it is a one to one match for a physical cd. now, some folks do combine multi disc album rips into one folder, but i would never advise more than that. -- MrSinatra www.lion-radio.org using: sb2 & sbc (my home) / sbr (parent's home) - sbs 7.5b - win xp pro sp3 ie8 - p4(ht) 3.2ghz / 2gig ram - 1tb wd usb2 raid1 - d-link dir-655 - 35k mp3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MrSinatra's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2336 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=72923 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
