These days, there aren't any stand out drives for ripping. What is good to use is something that will rip reliably. I use dbPoweramp, it has a very good ripping engine and also come spre configured for AccurateRip which will compair your rip to a database of other peoples. If they match then your rip is good (the chances of different people having the same error in a tack is so small you can discount it)
