Hello Squeezeboxers, Since getting my Squeezebox Classic, I've been laboriously ripping my entire CD collection to FLAC format. I am about 400 albums in, and am almost finished this Herculean task, including getting album art and tags "just right" (I listen to a lot of classical music and this has been a major challenge).
The FLACs are stored in directories separated by album, i.e. My Music > FLAC > Album1 My Music > FLAC > Album2 etc. I would now like to trans-code the entire FLAC collection to MP3s for use on my portable player and cell-phone. I would like to create a parallel but otherwise identical directory structure, i.e. My Music > MP3 > Album1 My Music > MP3 > Album2 etc. Obviously, I want the album art and tags to be preserved. What is the best way to do this with a minimum of effort? My gut reaction is to use Foobar, but I would like to know if there are other options. Thanks for your advice. -- JHW ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JHW's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34222 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74497 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
