I have been using MP3Tag to organinsing all my music resently.
I have the latest version of slimserver running on my ubuntu server.
But I have noticed that the tag infomation for MPC musepack files has
not been read properly where as all the MP3 and FLAC files are all
fine.
the server is displaying the MPC album name from the folder name
instead of from the tag infomation.
my music is organised so the album folder is under the artist name.
"Artist/Album/Track"
But I have sorted the album name by date and file type so the folder is
labeled something like "(1989) Hunkpapa (MPC)"
But when I list albums in slimserver the albums encoded in MPC are
listed incorrectly.
so this album would be at the top of the list under "(" rather than
under "H".
I have checked the tag infomation and that is all correct. so the album
infomation in the tag is just "Hunkpapa" and not "(1989 Hunkpapa (MPC).
dose anyone else have this problem or know a way to fix it rather than
having to rename all the folders containing MPC files.
