I don't think I've ripped any copy controlled CD's since I switched to
dbPoweramp, so I haven't come across this. You could try EAC (Exact
Audio Copy), that's what I used to use and haven't come across any
problems with any CDs at all. It might be a good idea to ask on the
dbPoweramp forums to see if there is a fix. In the mean time, make sure
you have the latest version installed.
